One of the great features of the Pattaya International Music Festival is that it caters for everyone with the widest selection of music styles. So whether you like rock or reggae, trance or jazz, pop or blues there is something for you. This huge variety of music genres really add to the feeling that the event is the people’s festival; everyone is included and this shows in the wide variety of fans that turn up. Pattaya Music Festival 2012

The 2013 Pattaya International Music Festival will take place from the 22th to 24th March. There are five stages located at various points along Beach Road. The biggest, the Galaxy Stage is at Laem Bali Hai; the Moon Stage is at Soi 4, one at Soi Hardrock; the Universal stage at Central and there is a specialist Reggae stage at South Pattaya. Each of the stages will feature a different style of music and the bands appear nightly from 6pm, playing until 1am the following morning.

During the evening, Beach Road will be closed to traffic so the fans can stroll along the beachfront taking in the different atmosphere at each stage. As you would expect, there will be the usual collection of thriving market stalls and street food vendors providing plenty of shopping and eating opportunities. The festival is sponsored by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and local government and businesses which allows all the stages and music to be provided free of any charge to the public.
