The private Bangkok-Trat / Koh Chang International Hospital (24 hours service) is located at White Sand Beach. The hospital belongs to the Bangkok General Hospital Group and offers medical care to a very high level. An ambulance in case of emergencies is permanenly available for transport to the Bangkok-Trat Hospital or transfer to Bangkok or Pattaya by Rescue Jet.

A new state of the art hospital of the Bangkok General Group is presently under construction and will replace the existing clinic. The opening is scheduled at the beginning of 2006.
