Siam Royal View Pattaya is a high end residential village with roughly 120 detached luxury villas to date; about half of the final build.

The stage for the live band was erected behind the swimming pool complete with atmospheric fire torches as well as LED lighting of varying colours.  A band of five talented students played contemporary rock and pop against the backdrop of the Pattaya skyline with both the band and the lights of the city being scenically mirrored in the waters of the communal swimming pool.


The event began at 6pm with a few aperitifs from the bar and was the perfect opportunity for guests and hosts to meet with old friends as well as the chance to make new ones. The buffet, which was a mix of both Thai and western food, was enjoyed by all before attentions were turned to the band’s finale.  

The party continued until well after midnight with guests forming and cementing good neighbourly relations as well as exchanging stories about life, family adventures and travel. Long-term residents shared handy hints and experiences about life in Thailand and by the end, everyone was in full agreement that the party had sealed friendships, been a fascinating learning experience and one that may encourage residents to sit and chat together with neighbours throughout the year on a private basis as well.
